Staub
The Staub company was founded in 1974 in Alsace, a region renowned for its rich history and gastronomic tradition. The stork, symbol of the Alsace region, represents the excellence of STAUB products with its elegance. Having become a reference brand in France and throughout the world, Staub has made its traditional cocotte iconic, but is appreciated for the pots, pans and all its cooking tools in enamelled cast iron, used every day in the kitchen and on the tables of prestigious restaurants.
Staub cast iron pans
Using Staub cast iron pans in your kitchen means obtaining tender meat with slow cooking, soft and tasty vegetables and impeccable dishes. In Staub cocotte aromas and flavors develop all their intensity and nutritional qualities are preserved to the maximum.
Attention to tradition has not prevented Staub from innovating forcefully the cooking methods in cast iron. The lids of Staub pots, for example, are designed with small hemispheres that facilitate the recycling of the water evaporated during cooking which does not come out of the cocotte, keeping all the aromas inside. The saucepans are usable on various hobs, including induction.
Staub frying pans
Cast iron is one of the materials more capable of retaining heat, spreading it slowly and distributing it in a completely homogeneous way. When cast iron is hot, its heat retention properties allow you to turn the heat down to a minimum, for simmering with minimal energy consumption. We find this characteristic also in the Staub frying pans, also available in woks, crepe pans and grill pans, to satisfy the requests of all chefs (amateur and non-amateur).
