The Blacklock line is named after Lodge Cast Iron's original foundry. This line is the result of years of experience and research by the brand to create a product that solves some of the problems faced when using cast iron pans, such as treatment of the material, weight and handles that overheat.

The entire Blacklock line is made of pre-conditioned cast iron and is   characterized by a finish pre-treated with three layers of natural vegetable oil - Triple Seasoned - for a ready-to-use non-stick finish, without the need for other types of treatment before use. The advantages of this finish can be summarized in a few words: much less care and maintenance to obtain the desired results, making these pans perfect for daily use, thanks to the ease of cleaning, resilience and resistance.

Designed with a new lightweight thin cast iron design - Blacklock has a weight reduction of up to 25% less than traditional cast iron - so you can lift, carry and handle them better.

Compatible with any hob, oven and grill (no microwave). They are also suitable for cooking on barbecues , as they are resistant to very high temperatures without suffering any damage!

Recommendations for use : Before starting to use it and at each subsequent use, we recommend rinsing the pan well and greasing it lightly with vegetable oil, even spray. We recommend preheating the pan so that it can absorb the heat better and then inserting the food.
