The design of this Dutch oven has been well thought out, with a real focus on versatility and ease of use. The VH3.8L is a Dutch oven with a thermometer cutout and no legs on the bottom. Since the bottom is flat, you can easily use it in your barbecue (kamado), but also indoors on the stove or in the oven . The lid can be used upside down like a frying pan and as the lid has feet , you can place it directly on the heat source without 'choking' the heat.

Valhal Outdoor's Dutch ovens are already pre-treated with a natural oil , so you no longer have to do it yourself before the first use. However, we recommend that you heat up Dutch ovens well before using them for the first time.
