Description
RAN bread knife
The professional damask steel knives of the RAN series are in line with the times. The blade is equipped with extremely effective razor sharpening. The central core is made of Japanese VG10 cobalt molybdenum steel with a Rockwell hardness of 61HRC, covered with 34 layers of variable stiffness stainless steel on each side, for a total of 69 layers. The surface is enriched by a damask chiselling. The knife is sharpened by hand and processed in five processing cycles. Each knife is a unique specimen. The handle of the knife is made of Canvas-Micarta material, approved by FDA standards. It is an extremely durable and resistant material, made up of resins and black linen fibre. It features a neat finish and is meant to last for decades. The handle is finished with a stainless steel knob which gives the knife exceptional qualities of stability, balance and functionality.
